Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

Confidentiality is your right to privacy about anything we talk about. That means I respect you and the information you share about your life as a professional protecting your rights and confidentiality under the American Counseling Association guidelines and the Florida laws pertaining to such. Confidentiality is respected, and ethical guidelines are followed at all times unless you are at risk of killing yourself or someone else, abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child, elderly person, or a vulnerable adult; by law, I am required to report such concerns. If your information is reportable due to any of those concerns, we would first talk about the concerns to know what actions would be needed in order to ensure the safety of you or other parties involved.
